You must take it at the bus stops, either from Medellín, Bogotá or Cali to Armenia or Pereira that costs around 25,000 and 50,000 Colombian pesos ($ 6.50- $ 13.50 USD), depending on the transport company and there take another to Salento that costs around 5,000 Colombian pesos ($ 1.40 USD).
To move within Salento you can choose by taxi. The initial amount is 2380 Colombian pesos ($ 0.65 USD) and then 535 Colombian pesos ($ 0.15 USD) per kilometer. You can also rent a car and prices vary depending on the type, year, number of days, among others.
